Four Months
The Girl clocks in at a gargantuan 15 lbs, 15 oz and 25.25 inches--almost a full pound more than her brother was at this age (!)--and he was a pound heavier to begin with. So yeah, The Girl is not starving.
She suffered through her shots and then surprised me with her longest consecutive sleep to date: 9 pm to 3:30 am.* Bliss.
Last night, however, she was back to her old tricks: down from 10 pm to 1 am, and then up every 1.5 hours until morning. It's as bad as it was with The Boy and that was awful, even without having a toddler to chase around.
So, as before, I'm thinking about CIO. There are still some things I want to try so I'm not quite there yet, but I'm almost there. Almost.
*When I mentioned this to a friend, she asked, "Anything else you can vaccinate her for?"
How about that distemperament vaccine? I hear it makes your dog behave better.

Feel free to ask for a refund for this advice, but can I suggest a technique that worked for me. It is the "pick up - put down" technique from "The Baby Whisperer" by Tracy Hogg. It is a technique that does not mean letting the baby cry. It sounds nuts, but it works like a dream for both of my boys. I have a link to her website. http://www.thebabywhisperer.com/babywhisperer6d08.html?load=home

Wow-- the girl is just a pound shy of Tiny Boy (he just hit 17 lbs at 15 months). I hope you find a good solution to the sleep dilemma that works for you.

i've read for a LONG time and have yet to comment, but this was reassuring! i to have a 4 mo old. he was 16# at his 4 mo check up (6 at birth) and i feel like he's huge. he's also on the same sleep schedule, a small check then up every hour or two until morning. can't wait to see what you do!
