Six Things

The last two nights have been better.  It never fails that whenever I bitch and moan about sleeplessness, I hear stories about people who've had it much, much worse, and then I’m embarrassed. So consider the below a gigantic change of subject, courtesy of Rebeccah:

Here are the rules to the game:

1) Link to the person that tagged you.
2) Post the rules on your blog.
3) Share six non-important things/habits/quirks about yourself.
4) Tag at least 3 people at the end of your post and link to their blogs.
5) Let each person know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.
6) Let the fun begin!

Here we go:

1.  Mismatched sheets make me uncomfortable.  My life is not particularly neat and tidy, but it has always included sheet sets, the way nature intended it.

2.   I don't get Amy Winehouse.  Her voice isn’t bad, but when your whole schtick is denial, well, that just seems sad.

3.  I could eat nothing but cheese and bread for the rest of my life and die happy.

4. I have a fantasy about being on What Not to Wear, but I think the shame upon viewing my secret footage could do me in.

5.  I like chocolate and I like ice cream, but I don't particularly like chocolate ice cream.

6. I’ve never had a Big Mac.

I'm tagging Cat, Cat, and Kate.

I totally agree on the matching sheets. I bought a set of sheets on sale, and tehre were no pillowcases, and I thought it wouldn't be too hard to find either a pattern or a good match, and I was totally wrong. Everytime I make the guest bed I cringe.
Amy Winehouse also perplexes me--hello your life is a wreck, maybe rehab wouldn't be a such a bad idea.

Oh my... you have to try a big mac. Even if it's just once.

I don't like chocolate ice cream either! Or chocolate milk. Although I love hot chocolate.

If you got on What Not To Wear, could you really throw away all your clothes? That's the part that would get me.

I'm so glad the sleep issues are perhaps taking a turn for the better. What is that saying... wait a week and things will change? If they are good they will get worse if they are awful they will get better?

Sigh... I will make this my next post, promise, thanks.

You've never had a Big Mac? Wow. It's one of my favorite (rare) treats.

I've never had a Big Mac either.

And I like chocolate and I like peanut butter but I don't like chocolate with my peanut butter (but chocolate-covered peanuts are fine).

I've long fantasized about being on WNTW just to get 5k to spend on clothes. I love clothes, though, so would have to fake the "secret" footage.

I have spent too much time thinking about this!!

I would *love* to go on What Not to Wear and I wouldn't mind tossing all my clothes! I really only have one pair of jeans and a couple of suits that I love at the moment anyway.

Thanks for the tag. I will get to it but have a few other posts to work through first.

Re: Winehouse: If you're going around blathering about how you like to hit your husband for kicks, it's time for you to be heading to rehab, even if you don't think that you've "got the time." I do admit, though, that I find it macabrely fascinating that someone can win a Grammy for a song in which she proudly sings about her determination to keep drugging away.

In other words, I don't get the fascination, either. We've already got Britney Spears - she may not be as talented, but she's more distinctive in her self-destruction, at least.

I love chocolate and I love ice cream, but chocolate doesn't translate well into ice cream, methinks...unless we're talking about B&J's Phish Food (chocolate ice cream, caramel and marshmallow swirls, little fudge fish). Chocolate sauce on vanilla or strawberry ice cream is much more satisfying, in my opinion.

If you ate nothing but bread and cheese you'd die of a bowel obstruction. And you wouldn't be happy.

Hi! I popped over from Xpat Files...

I never used to use a top sheet. That probably wouldn't please you, correct?

Bread and cheese? Sign me up!

I fantasize about being on What Not to Wear as well, but my fear would be relinquishing my t-shirt collection. There's no way S&C would let me keep them.

Chocolate? Yes! Chocolate ice cream? No!!
