Sentences I Never Thought I'd Say

Tonight at dinner:

"No, you can't have any more apple sauce until you eat one of your tater tots."

Yes, they're organic, no trans fat tater tots, but they're still tater tots.  Lunchables here we come!

oooh i do the same thing! my 4yr old will eat tofu, broccoli, edamame...but organic 'pillow fries' are in that 'you need to have one taste' category. as are all fries (letter fries are the most acceptable). i can also get away with 'they're not organic' as an excuse to buy any requested items that i don't deem necessary.

Eh, we eat lunchables here -- turkey/cheese/tiny Ritz crackers (the only one my daughter will eat). I don't lose any sleep over it. It started when she had to bring in something for a "picnic" lunch at school, and since she won't eat anything, I thought I would try one of those. She liked it, and I usually keep some in the fridge for her. I'm just glad that she's eating something -- she's a pretty stubborn kid. For example, if they aren't serving anything she likes for lunch at school (which happens often), she will sit there with her water and refuse to eat a bite.

How funny...I just bought some of those tater tots! I like queermom's idea...they're not organic...snort! My freaky twins can't get enough green vegetables (or any other color, for that matter). Is that a phase or something? Eat some freaking french fries!

Heard in our house this morning, "you can't have anymore blueberries until you eat some of your sausage."

Needless to say, I can relate.

hehehehe. Did you have other ideas before you started on this venture? So nice they make organic frozen foods, eh.

lol...funny!

The twins are fairly good eaters, but they won't touch anything potato. It's odd. I mean, POTATOES. YUM. What is wrong with them?

(And, like your boy, the twins love them some applesauce. Why don't they sell applesauce in bigger jars?)
